A crowd of flood victims gathered around a government boat carrying relief ration as it arrived in Manas Panchayat of Danapur Diara, Bihar. As soon as people spotted the ration boat, they eagerly waded into the water to grab the ration packets, which caused the boat to become unstable. The distress of the people present at the scene was clearly visible. According to the SDM, given the situation and keeping safety in mind, staff distributed the ration on the spot.
