A family dispute over land and pension in the Newadhiya police station area of Jaunpur turned into a double murder on Friday. In Saidupur village, Bhupendra Patel is accused of killing his 70-year-old mother, Sheetla Devi, and his 40-year-old sister, Gaura Devi, with an axe. Police arrested the accused at the scene and recovered the axe used in the killings.
