In Bihar's Munger district, the water level of the Ganga river is flowing 25 centimetres above the warning mark. Amid fluctuations in the water level, flood water continues to spread into new areas of the diara and low-lying regions, adding to the difficulties faced by local residents. In the Bariarpur area, the diversion has been submerged, completely disrupting movement of traffic and causing trouble for people trying to pass through. Several other roads have also gone under flood water.
