Kanpur Police Launches 'Operation Alert', Checks Sleeper Buses After Delhi Bus Rape Case
Following a bus rape case in Delhi, Kanpur Police have launched a campaign called 'Operation Alert' to strictly check sleeper and long-distance buses. The drive includes verification of drivers' and conductors' documents, and buses have been ordered to remove black curtains so activities inside can be clearly seen.
